One Hospitalized After Shooting Near Park Street
Police say a man was injured Thursday after shots were fired across the street from Boston Common.
BOSTON — One person was injured in a shooting near Boston Common Thursday afternoon, police said.
Officers responded to reports of a person shot at the intersection of Tremont and Winter Streets around 3:27 p.m. Witnesses say they heard two gunshots.
One man was rushed to the hospital, but police did not say whether the shooter was arrested.

Suffolk University issued an alert to faculty saying the suspected gunman fled the area in the direction of a Red Line MBTA station.
