Overheated Phone Charger at Boston School Sends Student, Adults to Hospital
They were transported by EMS as a precautionary measure according to the Boston Fire Department, which was called to the scene.

BOSTON, MA — The Boston Fire Department was called to a Mission Hill school over an overheated phone charger Monday morning.
According to fire officials, they arrived at Manville School around 9:30 a.m., for reports of "a small battery charger that overheated."
The overheating phone charger was apparently taken to a school restroom where it was put in water. Reports Boston Fire, "... it let off some vapor that made several (fall) sick."

Emergency services took six adults and one student to the hospital as a precautionary measure, fire officials said.
Hazardous Materials technicians additionally checked the school's air quality, finding it to be normal, and "removed phone charger to outside," Boston Fire said.

School is now back in session.
Boston Fire has not yet released the brand of the problem charger.
