Part Of Ted Williams Tunnel To Close Overnight Next Week
The westbound direction of the Ted Williams Tunnel in Boston will be closed every night next week for repaving.

BOSTON — The westbound direction of the Ted Williams Tunnel that runs from the Mass Pike under Boston Harbor will be closed every night next week to allow improvements and repaving on the roads.
Starting Monday, April 4, the westbound portion of the tunnel will be closed between midnight and 5 a.m. from Monday through Friday, officials from the Massachusetts Department of Transportation said.
Anyone looking to access the tunnel will be detoured through the Sumner Tunnel, and truckers will travel north on Route 1A to return to Boston by Route 1 southbound over the Tobin Bridge.
