Pedestrian Struck in O'Neill Tunnel Monday Night
An investigation is underway. Several lanes were temporarily closed.

BOSTON, MA — Someone on foot inside the O'Neill Tunnel was struck and killed by a vehicle Monday night in Boston.
Massachusetts State Police are investigating the incident, and initially revealed few details. The victim's name and other identifying features have not been shared at this time.
So far, State Police have said, "The preliminary investigation by troopers revealed a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle. An investigation as to the cause of the crash and the identity of the victim is ongoing by troopers assigned to Troop E, the State Police Suffolk District Attorney’s Office, Crime Scene Services, and the Collision Analysis Reconstruction Section."
