Plane Lands at Logan With Deceased Passenger Aboard

State police are reportedly on the scene Thursday afternoon.

BOSTON, MA — Mass. State Police are reporting that a plane landed at Logan Airport in Boston with a passenger aboard who died while the plane was in the air Thursday afternoon.

The JetBlue flight flew in Thursday afternoon from Fort Meyers, Florida, a state police spokesman told Patch.

"Sadly, a passenger passed away during the course of the flight," he said.

The passenger was an elderly male, and the death appears to have been from natural causes, according to the spokesman.
