MASSACHUSETTS — The low-pressure system that has been swirling in the Atlantic has become Tropical Storm Fay — and she's headed for New England.

Massachusetts could get walloped this weekend, according to some forecasts. A flash flood watch has been issued until Saturday at noon.

The National Weather Service said flash flooding is the "main threat" from Friday night into Saturday morning. Where that is likely to occur will depend on how the system develops.
