Red Sox Opening Day Starter Tests Positive For Coronavirus
Eduardo Rodriguez and Bobby Dalbec are the latest Red Sox players to test positive for the coronavirus.

BOSTON — Lefthander Eduardo Rodriguez and infielder Bobby Dalbec are the latest Red Sox players to test positive for the coronavirus.
Boston manager Ron Roenicke said Rodriguez is feeling better and Dalbec has been asymptomatic.
Rodriguez was slated to be the team's Opening Day starter, Roenicke said. The Sox start the season July 24 hosting Baltimore. It's unclear if Rodriguez will be ready.

The 27-year-old is the team's top starting pitcher with Chris Sale recovering from Tommy John surgery. He had a career-best 19 wins and led the league with 34 starts last season.
Pitchers Josh Taylor and Darwinzon Hernandez have also tested positive for the coronavirus.
