Indoor Dining, Nail Salons Reopening Monday In Massachusetts
Indoor dining, retail dressing rooms (by appointment only,) personal services such as nail salons and more will reopen Monday.

The second part of phase two of the state's reopening will begin Monday, but phase three will be pushed back at least another week, Gov. Charlie Baker announced early Friday afternoon.
As expected, part two will see the return of indoor dining and personal services such as nail salons, tattoo parlors and some personal training. Baker also revealed retail dressing rooms will reopen (by appointment only) and offices are opening back to 50 percent capacity.
Baker said the state wants two weeks of indoor dining data before moving to phase three, putting its earliest possible date at July 6. Indoor dining carries with it a different set of risks than outdoor dining, which many have quickly taken to.

Baker has said the speed at which phases will roll out depends on public health data, with at least three weeks between phases. The earliest phase three — which will include things like fitness centers, movie theaters, museums and aquariums — would have started was June 29.
But still, Baker appeared pleased with the progress so far.

"Reopening Massachusetts is working," the governor said.
The latest coronavirus data key metrics continue to trend in the right direction. But the fall is still an unknown, and Baker implored people to continue wearing face masks and practicing social distancing through the summer.
