Six-Year-Old Falls From Third Story Window In Boston
Police say a witness told them they saw a screen fall first, then a child who landed on top of a car in Boston's Mission Hill neighborhood.

BOSTON — Boston police are investigating after a six-year-old fell from the third story of a home in Boston's Mission Hill neighborhood Wednesday night.
Authorities confirmed the child is alert and conscious while in stable condition.
Police responded to a call at 10:15 p.m. on Calumet Street after a witness told them they saw a window screen come out of the third-floor window before someone fell out of the window and onto a car.

The same witness told police a man came out of the house, grabbed the child, put him inside the car and left. Police say the driver told them he was taking the child to the hospital.
After the incident, multiple officers returned to the house to investigate further.

Police say an early investigation leads them to think the child leaned against the screen window and fell out. Now they're warning parents to keep furniture away from windows so that there is no chance of accidentally falling.
