'Strange Odor' Prompts Evacuation Of Beacon Hill Buildings In Boston
Emergency crews and a HazMat response team are allowing people back into their buildings on Grove Street after checking the air quality.

BOSTON — Three buildings in Boston's Beacon Hill neighborhood were evacuated Tuesday morning after fire officials received reports of a strange odor.
The Boston Fire Department ordered a Level 3 HazMat response to Grove Street, after receiving word of a strange odor. Emergency crews responded to the area around 11 a.m., quickly ordering all people to vacate the building as a precaution.
Firefighters and HazMat crews spent over an hour monitoring the air quality of the area before allowing people back into the buildings.

There were no injuries reported and the cause of the odor remains under investigation.
