BOSTON, MA — Boston isn't known to be the cheapest city, but that doesn't mean there aren't plenty of people entering the housing and rental markets every day.

In an effort to learn more about the status of the city's condo and apartment market, we took a look at some Beantown listings that cleared the million-dollar mark.

From the Ritz-Carlton to partial water views in the Seaport, here's what $1 million can get you in Boston:

Coming at you from the Ritz-Carlton Residences, this one-bedroom, two-bathroom condo is listed for $1.149 million.

In the heart of Boston's Midtown, the unit comes with state-of-the-art kitchen appliances, custom built-ins, hardwood flooring, and brand-new bedroom carpeting.

Your purchase will also net you a discounted Equinox health club membership, complimentary guest parking stickers every month and a "meticulously maintained" choice of lobby and common areas.

133 Seaport Blvd.

This 16th-floor unit at the Echelon Seaport offers partial views of the water within one of Boston's fastest-growing areas.

The one-bedroom, one-bathroom unit is listed at $1.269 million with floor-to-ceiling windows, white oak wood plank flooring throughout, an open kitchen with custom Italian cabinetry and top-of-the-line appliances.
