Teenager Arrested After Attacking Men Near Shawmut Station

Police arrested a teenager in connection to a recent assault on two men outside of a Boston MBTA station.

According to police, a 69-year-old man and a 47-year-old man were approached by several male juveniles near the Blue Bike racks around 12 p.m. on May 23.

BOSTON — A 15-year-old was arrested after two adult men told police they were attacked at the MBTA Shawmut Station.

According to police, a 69-year-old man and a 47-year-old man were approached by several male juveniles near the Blue Bike racks around 12 p.m. on May 23.

Some of the group members threatened the men with a knife, demanding money from them. Police say when the men told them they had no money, the group beat the men up and then fled the area.

Both men were treated by EMTs for injuries at the scene.
