These 6 MA ZIP Codes Among Most Expensive In U.S.

One of the ZIP codes is actually the third priciest in the country, according to PropertyShark.

The ZIP code for Boston's Back Bay was among six in Massachusetts that made PropertyShark’s annual ranking of the 100 most expensive areas in the United States.

The Back Bay's ZIP code was the third most expensive in the country. It trailed only Atherton, California, and Sagaponack, New York.

The list actually includes 117 ZIP codes because a number were tied in the rankings. PropertyShark compiles the annual list by using closed sale home prices as opposed to asking prices.

Silicon Valley had 30 ZIP codes on the list. Overall, California had 82.
