Think You're Faster Than The Green Line? Here's Your Chance to Prove It

"Race the T" will benefit homelessness org, vent MBTA rider frustration.

BOSTON, MA — For all who've complained, "I could walk faster than the Green Line," here's your chance to lace up your sneakers and prove it, for a good cause.

"Race the T" runs from the Boston College T stop to the Blanford stop, a roughly four-mile course along Comm Ave. It kicks off 10:30 a.m. on Jan. 14, with a $20 entry fee.

Participation benefits Back on My Feet, a national non-profit organization that combats homelessness through the power of running, community support and essential employment and housing resources.

According to Boston Magazine, who first reported the race, runners did, indeed, outrun the T in a similar 2014 event. That make you mad? Consider running off that rage later this month.
