Trump To Throw First Pitch At Red Sox-Yankees Game

The president said he'll be toeing the rubber this summer.

President Trump said Thursday he'll be throwing the first pitch at a Red Sox-Yankees game this summer.

Trump said Yankees president Randy Levine, "a great friend of mine," invited him to throw the first pitch at Yankee Stadium. Trump said he's aiming for Aug. 15, when the Sox visit the Bronx.

On Thursday night, Dr. Anthony Fauci threw the MLB season opener's first pitch in Washington, D.C. It was socially distanced from the plate, to say the least.

Gov. Charlie Baker is slated to throw out the first pitch at Friday night's Red Sox opener.
