Vacant Building Burns Near Dudley Square
The Boston Fire Department is investigating the cause of the two-alarm fire on Roxbury Street.

BOSTON, MA — An apparently vacant building in Roxbury went up in flames Sunday, with no injuries reported.
According to the Boston Fire Department, firefighters were called to 33 Roxbury St. around noon, a three-story building near Dudley Square with a store on the first floor and apartments on the second and third.
Flames could be seen on the third and first floors, the fire department said. Two alarms were ordered.

Once out, the fire chief estimated the damage at about $200,000.
Fire investigators reportedly arrived on-scene to seek out the fire's cause and determine where it started.
