Weymouth Man Found Shot to Death in Hyde Park

BOSTON, MA — Police on Wednesday identified the victim in a Hyde Park shooting at 24-year-old James Clermont, of South Weymouth.

According to Boston Police, officers say they found Clermont around 11:30 a.m. Sunday, after receiving calls about a man sitting motionless inside a motor vehicle on Williams Avenue. On arrival, police found CLermont had been shot.

The Boston Police Department is actively reviewing the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident. Anyone with information is strongly urged to contact detectives assigned to Homicide Unit at (617) 343-4470.
