BOSTON, MA — Mobile ride-hailing app Uber is offering a new promotion that will get you in the holiday spirit (plus, protect against chilly temps).
Uber's ugly sweater giveaway launches Thursday, with an exclusive (and actually kinda cute) sweater from Tipsy Elves, delivered to you for free.

Here’s how the promotion works, according to Uber:
- Download the latest version of the Uber app.
- Enter ELVESBOS16 to unlock the special ELVES option.
- On December 8 from 11 a.m.-4 p.m., slide over to the ELVES option and request.
- Have the new app? Tap the green sweater card at the bottom of the app and request.
- If you’re connected with a vehicle, up to 2 sweaters will be delivered to your door (or chimney).
