Woman Dead And 5 Hospitalized After Dorchester Overnight Shooting
A woman is dead and five others are left hospitalized after a shooting on Irma Street in Dorchester early Monday morning.

DORCHESTER, MA — A shooting on Irma Street in Dorchester leaves police investigating after a woman is dead and five others are hospitalized.
Officers responded to the scene near Blue Hill Avenue around 12:30 a.m. Monday morning to find a woman suffering from an apparent gunshot wound before pronouncing her dead at the scene.
The woman's name has not been released.

Boston police say two other victims were found nearby with non-life-threatening gunshot wounds. Three other victims were self-transported to local hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries, police added.
