
DORCHESTER, MA — An argument at 7 Fayston St. escalated into the homicide of 34-year-old Sasha Morris when Elba Morales grabbed a kitchen knife and stabbed her in the chest, according to a statement from Suffolk District Attorney Daniel Conley. Morris was declared dead at Boston Medical Center early Tuesday morning.
Morales, 47, was arraigned on one count of murder, and is being held without bail. According to Assistant District Attorney Craig Iannini, Morales and Morris were in the apartment of Morris' boyfriend when they began to argue. Morales fled the scene and attempted to leave via vehicle before being apprehended by the Boston Police Department. Attorney John Darrell is representing Morales, who is due in court on Jan. 18.
