2nd Gun In As Many Weeks Confiscated By Braintree Police

Police also found some drugs while executing a search warrant.

BRAINTRE, MA — A second gun was confiscated in the past two week by Braintree police Wednesday.

While conducting a search warrant Brookside Road, police found $1,400 in cash, 6.06 grams of cocaine, 50 Oxycodone pills and roughly 45 grams of crack cocaine. A 45 caliber handgun with 17 plus rounds of ammo was also seized, police said.

This is the second firearm taken by in two weeks. A weapon, along with $200,000 in drugs were discovered during an arrest on May 3.
