4th Of July Funding Effort Includes New Braintree Block Party
The first ever Braintree Block Party at French's Common and Town Hall is set for June 25 from 4:30 to 7:40 p.m.

BRAINTREE, MA — The lead up to Braintree Day and the 4th of July celebration will include a new tradition that's less than a week away.
The first ever Braintree Block Party at French's Common and Town Hall is set for June 25 from 4:30 to 7:40 p.m. The event replaces Pizzapalooza, which was called off this year due to the strain it placed on the smaller restaurants.
While there will be no pizza, event organizers are promising free hot dogs, hamburgers, and drinks, according to the event's Facebook page. There will be some food trucks on site, music, games, and Braintree Day shirts for sale.
