Based on further witness statements, officers believed that the other suspect, Steven Durrant, 20, fled to his home on Hall Avenue.

Officers attempted to make contact with Durrant at his residence, but they could raise no one at the home. Believing he was inside, the officers "froze" the scene and applied for a search warrant.

After several hours, the warrant was issued and the officers again tried to make contact. As they entered the home, Durrant tried to exit the third floor via an exterior staircase. He was taken into custody around 8 p.m.

Both Jeune-Joseph and Durrant are charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, assault and battery and armed robbery.
