Braintree Animal Control Officer Finds Deer In Back Of Car
The intent was there, but it's not a great idea to put a deer in your car.

BRAINTREE, MA — "Deer in a Subaru." That's not one you hear often, but it's what the Braintree Animal Control Officer Dave Littlewood found Thursday.
While at the animal wildlife center in Weymouth to drop off an injured raccoon, the Braintree officer found a man who had taken a deer he hit with his car to the center. How did they transfer this animal? By placing him in the back of the sedan. Video of the deer shows it relaxing in the back and not panicked.
Luckily, the deer was taken out of the car and Massachusetts Environmental Police was contacted, but the deer ran off into the woods before it could be checked out.

While the drivers intentions are honorable, animal control reminds everyone that transporting wild animals can be hazardous.
