Braintree Car Break-Ins Result Of Unlocked Cars: Police

Police released video of a suspect recently breaking into cars in South Braintree.

BRAINTREE, MA — Recent Braintree car break-ins can be credited in part due to unlocked cars, police said.

On March 30, Braintree police received reports of a "handful" of car break-ins the South Braintree Square area. All vehicles had been left unlocked, they said.

Police released video of the suspect, who can be seen walking down Hall Avenue, pulling on car door handles.
