Braintree Could Expand Senior, Veteran Housing
A meeting is scheduled to discuss the potential reuse of buildings at 74 and 90 Pond St. Here's what to know.

A meeting is scheduled for this week as Braintree plans for an update to senior and veteran housing locally.
The meeting is scheduled on Thursday from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the Braintree Elder Affairs building, 71 Cleveland Ave., and will feature a discussion with a design team discussing opportunities to renovate and expand buildings at 74 and 90 Pond St. Those buildings could be reused for senior and veteran housing.

The meeting will also be available via Zoom at the link here.
Discussion at the meeting will include a summary of the existing buildings' need for maintenance and upgrades, as well as initial concept studies for how to provide housing there, officials said.
