Braintree Hyatt Murder Case: Arrest Made
Juana Rivera is scheduled to appear in Norfolk Superior Court in Dedham Monday.

BRAINTREE, MA — A Lynn woman will appear in Norfolk Country Superior Court Monday on allegations that she killed a teenager at the Braintree Hyatt Place Hotel on Forbes Road.
Juana Rivera, 19, was arrested in Lynn Friday afternoon by Braintree Police and State Police, according to the Norfolk District Attorney's office. She is charged with killing 19-year-old Reina Rodriguez, formerly of Lawrence.
Rodriguez was found dead inside a room at the hotel on June 22, 2017

“The Braintree police have been excellent partners with Norfolk County homicide detectives in this investigation,” District Attorney Morrissey said in a release. “We also very much appreciate the service of the grand jury that heard evidence in this case, and the Lynn Police for their part in taking this defendant into custody.”
No other information is expected to be released before the arraignment.
