Braintree Little League Routes Vermont, 1 Win Away From World Series

BRAINTREE, MA — Braintree's Little League team, now to be known across the country as the representatives of Massachusetts, was dominant in its game one victory over Maine.

The team won 15-0 in game one and followed suit in game two, winning its second game of the tournament by double digits, 10-0.

Braintree has yet to allow a run through two games, and now needs just one win to continue its march to the Little League World Series in Williamsport.

The final will be played at 7 p.m. on Thursday against the winner of New Hampshire and Vermont.
