Braintree Opens New Riverwalk
It comes as part of the Monatiquot River Restoration Project. A ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held later this fall.
BRAINTREE, MA — The Monatiquot Riverwalk is officially open to the public in Braintree, local officials recently announced.
This new riverwalk is located at 10 Plain St. It comes as part of the Monatiquot River Restoration Project, something officials said is a "key step in restoring natural flow, reconnecting ecosystems, and improving public access."
An official ribbon-cutting ceremony will be scheduled later this fall, officials said.
