Braintree PD Says Businesses May Open at Noon on Veterans Day

Braintree Police Chief Shastany says business are permitted to open at noon.

BRAINTREE, MA - In accordance with statewide approval, Braintree Police Chief Paul J. Shastany has authorized and permitted businesses to open for business at 12:00 noon on Veterans Day, Friday, November 11.

The Department of Labor Standards has approved all permits issued by local police chiefs for openings by establishments prior to 1:00 p.m. on Veterans Day on a statewide basis. Any businesses may open on Veterans Day at 12:00 noon without a permit.
