Driscoll Beats Bradley In Norfolk, Plymouth, Bristol Primary
William Driscoll, Jr., took down Erin Bradley after garnering 45 percent of the vote in the three-person race for the seat.

BRAINTREE, MA — The race for the State Senate seat in the Norfolk, Plymouth, Bristol has been called by the Associated Press, with 45 percent of the vote going to William Driscoll, Jr.
Erin Bradley garnered 33 percent of the vote in the contested Democratic primary race, with 95 percent of the ballots counted.
The ballot is admittedly a thin one in many communities with the majority of state representative, state senator and federal legislator elections uncontested at the primary level.

Some of the candidates who are unopposed within their own party will meet general election opposition, although a large percentage will not.
One race with some intrigue in the primary is the Republican race to challenge U.S. Sen. Elizabeth Warren in November. Former U.S. Attorney John Deaton won that race, and will face off against Warren.
