Braintree Recreation Hosts Community Events This Week
A family movie night and "Party in the Park" are on the docket for locals in Braintree. Here's what to know.

BRAINTREE, MA — The Braintree Recreation Department is set to host two community events this week.
On Wednesday, a screening of "Wish" is scheduled for the town's free family movie night at French’s Common, located next to Braintree Town Hall. The movie will start at dusk, but residents can begin claiming their spots around 7 p.m.
Officials advise moviegoers to bring a blanket or chair to sit on. “Buck a buy” concessions will be available at the movie.

Then, on Thursday, “Party-in-the-Park” will take over Mattulina Park at the corner of Kendall Avenue and East Boscobel Street. Scheduled from 6 to 8 p.m, free games and food will be available for anyone who attends.
