Brockton Fire Captain Threatened Teens With Bat In Braintree: PD
Francis Bills, 40, has been put on administrative leave following the alleged incident.

BRAINTREE, MA — A Brockton fire captain faces allegations that he threaten two teens with a baseball bat in Braintree.
Francis Bills, 40, was arrested at French's Common Wednesday just past 6 p.m. and charged with assault with a dangerous weapon, assault and battery, and disorderly conduct (subsequent offense), according to the Braintree Police Log.
Braintree Police told NBC Boston that in addition to threatening the teens, Bill allegedly slapped one of them. The incident took place over one of the teens sitting on Bills' child's minibike.

Bill was due in court Thursday, but his appearance has been delayed 30 days due to the Valor Act. He has been placed on administrative leave.
