Delivery Driver Robbed In Braintree, Police Seek Public Assistance
A driver was robbed by three people armed with handguns after making a delivery on Skyline Drive, officials said.
BRAINTREE, MA — A food delivery turned into an armed carjacking in Braintree on Friday night, police said.
Around 10 p.m. on Friday, Braintree police received a call from a food delivery driver who said he was robbed by three people, all of whom had handguns, while making a delivery on Skyline Drive.
The responding officers quickly located the victim and, a few seconds later, the victim’s unoccupied vehicle, a Nissan Maxima, was located near the Skyline Apartments management office, a short distance from where it was taken.

The vehicle was still running, the front passenger door was open and items were strewn on the ground outside the victim’s vehicle, officials said.
The Braintree Police Department called for assistance from mutual aid partners, and Quincy officers arrived along with a Quincy K-9. Massachusetts State Police also assisted along with the MSP Air Wing.

Multiple K9 tracks were conducted, but ultimately did not discover the suspects. Braintree’s drone unit was activated and both Braintree and Quincy drones were used.
The victim’s vehicle was towed to the Braintree Police station for processing.
"The victim was visibly upset, but uninjured, and was driven to the Braintree Police station where he was interviewed by Braintree Detectives," police said.
There have been no arrests at this time, and officials are asking for public assistance.
