Popular New England Restaurant Chain Opens In Braintree
The restaurant is now open in the space formerly occupied by a TGI Fridays.
BRAINTREE, MA — The former TGI Friday's space is filled with light, food, people and beverages again.
Tavern in the Square has opened its newest Massachusetts location in Braintree, going into the space at 60 Forbes Rd. that, until January, was home to TGI Fridays.
The Braintree restaurant marks Tavern in the Square's 14th location in Massachusetts.

When Patch reported news of the opening this summer, Braintree was one of two openings slated for this year, including Bedford, New Hampshire.
The chain also has restaurants in Rhode Island, Connecticut and New Hampshire.
