In May, the town's licensing commission approved a license for Wave's Seafood and owner Rayford Kelley, a Braintree resident.
Kelley has nearly 20 years of experience in the industry and owns Ferullo’s Seafood, a wholesale seafood company in the Boston seaport district.

At the time, Licensing Commission Chairman James Casey said Kelley could have the shop open by the first week of June. That didn't come to fruition, but the shop is now ready to host guests.
Wave's will offer "a concept of fresh seafood, and cooked seafood meals for takeout with limited outdoor seating," Casey shared in an email with Patch.
The space will open at 190 Quincy Ave., the former home of Curry Ace Hardware.
