US Marshals search for Brockton double murder suspect believed to have ties to Haiti (haitiantimes.com) — Federal authorities are still searching for a suspect charged in a Brockton shooting outside the Westgate Drive Chipotle that killed two teenagers in March 2025, and they’re offering a cash reward for tips. Investigators believe he may have fled to Haiti, and the victim’s family is urging community members, including Brockton’s Haitian residents, to help bring him to justice.

Brockton student's Fuller Craft Museum exhibit runs through March 15 (enterprisenews.com) — A Brockton museum is showcasing senior Sirley Cruz’s artwork at the Fuller Craft Museum through March 15, highlighting the talent of a Southeastern Regional Vocational Technical High School student. Her pieces grew out of a 2025 residency that supports Brockton-area youth artists and gave her intensive mentorship, new materials to explore, and confidence in her creative voice.
   

4. 3 Chicago White Sox takeaways as recently signed pitcher Sean Newcomb prepares to compete for a rotation spot (chicagotribune.com) — Brockton native Sean Newcomb just signed a one-year deal with the Chicago White Sox and will head into spring training competing for a spot in their starting rotation. The 32-year-old lefty, coming off a strong 2025 season, says reconnecting with pitching adviser Brian Bannister and joining fellow Boston-area pitchers made Chicago feel like the right fit.
