12-Year-Old Struck by Car Tuesday Night

The Brookline Police reported a pedestrian struck Tuesday evening.

The Brookline Police Department reported that a pedestrian was struck by a car near 1477 Beacon Street at about 9:25 p.m. on Tuesday, June 4.  

A 12-year-old boy was struck by a car while running across the street at 1477 Beacon Street at 8:17 p.m. on Tuesday, June 4.  Witnesses told police that the boy was running across the street to catch a train. His father was with him. No charges were filed against the driver at this time.

The boy was conscious, talking to paramedics on the scene. He was taken to a nearby hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
