If you were looking forward to buying cigarettes in Brookline on your 18th birthday, you're going to have to wait it out for more year.   A new law took affect last Saturday and pushed the legal age to purchase tobacco products in town up to 19.   According to <a href="http://www.boston.com/yourtown/news/brookline/2013/06/law_raising_age_to_buy_cigaret.html" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">The Boston Globe</a>, the Peer Leadership Group from Brookline High School introduced this measure in 2012.    Brookline joined Arlington, Belmont, Dover and Needham with raised minimum ages to buy tobacco this year.
