From now until July 15th,Blue Hills Bank is accepting nominations for its 2014 Hometown Hero Calendar. Twelve individuals or groups, who make a positive impact on the community, will not only be featured in the Blue Hills Bank 2014 Calendar, but will receive $1,000 towards their organization or favorite charity.

“We are lucky to be in a community where service and volunteerism isn’t a rarity, it’s the norm,” comments William M. Parent, President and CEO of Blue Hills Bank, “We’re looking forward to honoring local heroes, the people and organizations that make this community a great place to live and work.”
All nominees will be added to an online ballot for public voting in July and August. Nominees can include local organizations or individuals (volunteer or paid workers), with the exception of elected officials. Nominees must serve Hyde Park, West Roxbury, Dorchester, Jamaica Plain, Mattapan, Roslindale, Roxbury, South Boston, Brookline,
Canton, Dedham, Dover, Easton, Foxborough, Mansfield, Medfield, Milton, Needham, Newton, Norwood, Randolph, Sharon, Stoughton, Walpole or Westwood.
