Brookline High Bomb Threat: School Deemed Safe for Students to Return

Police say students have returned to their classes Thursday morning.

BROOKLINE, MA - Students at Brookline High are back in school Thursday after a bomb threat forced an evacuation.

Shortly after 8 a.m. Thursday morning emergency crews responded to the call at Brookline High School.

Police confirmed to Patch that the school has since been cleared and students have returned to their classes.

Close to 20 high schools in Massachusetts received bomb threats Thursday as a wave of calls hit the state for the second time this week.

On Monday a number of schools, including Brookline High, received similar threats.
