The Brookline Select Board approved an alcohol license for Manager and Co-owner Catherine Chan's restaurant earlier this year, and the official launch is now expected to take place soon, although an official date has still not been announced. The Brookline Jumbo Seafood will be the second location of its kind once it opens, with the original being on Hudson Street in the Chinatown neighborhood of Boston. The Newton location on Langley Road closed in 2022.
