BOSTON — Boston University police have launched an investigation following a stabbing that took place Thursday night.Officers responded to a report of an assault around 8:40 p.m. at 855 Comm Ave and found a person injured from an apparent stab wound, police said. The victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries.The suspect is described as a 35-year-old Asian woman who is about 5 feet 5 inches tall with a slim build and shoulder-length black hair. Police said she fled the scene following the incident and is not believed to be on the BU campus at this time. Anyone with information is asked to contact campus police at 617-353-2121
