Brookline Community Foundation To Reveal Health Research At Event
The first-ever community indicators database will be released at an event featuring performances and a panel discussion.

BROOKLINE, MA — The Brookline Community Foundation (BCF) is inviting residents to next month's launch of the Understanding Brookline research series, which will feature the release of Brookline's first-ever community indicators database.
The event is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Nov 2 in the Multipurpose Room at Florida Ruffin Ridley School, located at 345 Harvard St. The event is free, though tickets are required and can be reserved online.
According to the BCF, the community indicators database tracks 50 health, well-being and equality indicators in real time to help advance equity and access in Brookline.

In addition to offering the first look at the community indicators database, next month's event also will feature performances and a moderated panel discussion.
The panel will be moderated by Aba Taylor, the BCF executive director and feature Malcolm Cawthorne, METCO director in the Public Schools of Brookline, Dr. Chris Chanyasulkit, president of the American Public Health Association, Dr. Raul Fernandez, senior lecturer at Boston University, Dr. Linus Guillory Jr., superintendent in the Public Schools of Brookline, Kim Janey, CEO of Economic Mobility Pathways and the former mayor of Boston and Bob Van Meter, executive director of the Brookline Community Development Corporation.

After the presentation, guests will be treated to grab-and-go desserts from local chefs.
