Brookline Has A Lot To Say About Parking Lots
The town is soliciting feedback on what to do with parking lots located on Coolidge Corner.

BROOKLINE, MA — The town announced the launch of a study Thursday that focuses on the parking lots on Centre Street and their greater role as a part of Coolidge Corner.
The town argues that the lots are crucial to the ecosystem of the neighborhood and local businesses, but have not seen any changes or improvements in many years.
The Select Board has appointed 12 people to the Centre Street Lots Committee, with the Board’s Mike Sandman as Chair.

Last year the town contracted Speck Dempsey design firm, which along with Stantec Urban Places and Isenberg Projects to conduct parking analysis and develop conceptual designs.
The town is strongly encouraging residents to take an online survey that assesses their opinions on the present and future of the parking lots.
