Brookline Rotary Club To Host Dog Day 2022
All proceeds from Dog Day will go to support Rotary philanthropic work locally and internationally.
BROOKLINE, MA — The Rotary Club of Brookline, with the support of the Green Dog Program of Brookline, will present a celebration of “man’s best friend” at Downes Field on Sunday, Oct. 16.
From 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM, there will be vendors and activities honoring pets, including Halloween costume competitions for both pets and owners, demonstrations by the Brookline Police K9 Unit, and frisbee demonstrations with Flying High Dogs.
The event will also feature food trucks, vendors, and a shelter that will bring dogs for possible adoption to qualifying applicants. Green Dog Program participants receive a discount on admission.

All proceeds from Dog Day will go to support Rotary philanthropic work locally and internationally. A portion of the proceeds from this event will go to Fidelco, a non-profit that trains dogs and donates them to the blind.
