Sean Bielat, Elizabeth Childs, & David Steinhof Agree to First Televised Debate

Newton, MA, July 20, 2012 - Broadside with Jim Braude, NECN's nightly show for analysis and commentary on the top stories of the day, announced today that it will host an exclusive 30-minute debate of the candidates in MA 4th Congressional District GOP Primary -- Sean Bielat of Norfolk, Elizabeth Childs of Brookline, and David Steinhof of Fall River. Moderated by Broadside host Jim Braude, "Election 2012: Broadside Debate" will be the first televised debate with these candidates and will air LIVE on NECN on Monday, July 30th beginning at 6 p.m from the studios at 160 Wells Ave. in Newton, MA.

In 2010 Sean Bielat was the GOP nominee against Democratic incumbent Rep. Barney Frank, who is retiring. David Steinhof is a lifetime Fall River resident and owner and operator of Steinhof Dental Clinic. Elizabeth Childs is a practicing physician and served as Commissioner of Mental Health under former Gov. Mitt Romney. Joseph Kennedy 3rd, Rachel E. Brown and Herb Robinson are seeking the Democratic nomination for the 4th CD seat. The MA Primary will take place Thursday, September 6, 2012.
