Help ID Suspected Jewelry Thief: Brookline PD

The theft took place in the spring of this year.

BROOKLINE, MA — The police department is looking to identify a vehicle it believes to be connected to a breaking and entering and robbery incident at a business earlier this year in April.

The vehicle, a red Jeep Cherokee, was captured on surveillance footage and has decals on both the top left corner of the front windshield and the top right corner of the rear windshield. The vehicle’s registration year is unknown. The driver, who reportedly stole more than $37,000 worth of jewelry from a local jewelry store, is being described as a white man between six feet and six feet and two inches tall. The incident occurred back in April of this year.

Community members with relevant information are being asked to contact detectives at 617-730-2243. Police emphasized that the person is not technically considered wanted at this time.
