2. : These leading independent publishers have joined forces to talk about a genre they love to read and publish: international crime fiction.
3. Art Matters to visit Boylston Place: Art awareness and education program Art Matters will visit EPOCH Assisted Living at Boylston Place, 615 Heath St., on Tuesday, June 11 at 2 p.m. for a discussion of post-Impressionist artists.

4. Audition for PALS Children's Chorus!: PAL’S welcome students who love to sing and are entering grades K-8 to audition for the chorus, which offers vocal training and music literacy in a strong and caring community of peers and teachers.
5. POETRY BROOKLINE: Poetry Brookline is a new project that invites you to create and submit poems, songs, and art about Brookline places or people. Judy Steinbergh, Brookline poet laureate, will be collecting works, by and for those of every age who live, learn, work or play in Brookline, to display on posters and broadsheets around town, and hopefully to culminate in a Poetry Map of Brookline designed as a mural.
