1. Weather: The National Weather Service predicts a warm, sunny day with ahigh near 81. There’s a chance of showers in the evening and a low of 63.

3. POETRY BROOKLINE: Poetry Brookline is a new project that invites you to create and submit poems, songs, and art about Brookline places or people. Judy Steinbergh, Brookline poet laureate, will be collecting works, by and for those of every age who live, learn, work or play in Brookline, to display on posters and broadsheets around town, and hopefully to culminate in a Poetry Map of Brookline designed as a mural.

4. Spring Class Registration: Registration is now open for spring classes at the Brookline Arts Center! Many new classes are available for children, teens, and adults.
5. History expert Gary Hylander visits Boylston Place: EPOCH Assisted Living at Boylston Place, 615 Heath St., will welcome renowned history professor Gary Hylander for a discussion of Liliuokalani, also known as Hawaii’s Last Queen, on Tuesday, June 18 at 1:30 p.m.
